FILMS AND CERTIFICATION
How do I find out what's showing?
Click onto our weekly guide or the film finder to see what's showing. If you want to know what's coming up, visit the coming soon page.
On some of your upcoming films, it says (CTBA). What does this mean?
This means Certificate To Be Announced. The BBFC has not yet announced what rating that particular film will be.
My child is 14. Can they come to a 15 film if I am with them?
No. 15 films are only for people aged 15 or over, no exceptions. This is licensing law.
What does a 12A rating mean?
12A means that under 12s can watch a film as long as they are accompanied by an adult. We advise checking the BBFC Insight on the BBFC website which will inform you why that particular film has been given that rating, i.e. bad language, violence.
How many people are on a family ticket?
A family ticket is for four people. This can be made up of one adult and three children or two adults and two children.
Do you charge extra for 3D?
When you first come to a 3D screening, there is a £1.50 one-off charge to purchase a pair of glasses. But these are yours to keep, so hang onto them and bring them back when you come to another 3D screening. We do not add any extra charge for 3D screenings - you pay the same price whether it's 2D or 3D.
Are carers admitted free of charge?
We are a member of the Cinema Exhibitors Association (CEA). If you are a disabled person, you can apply for a CEA card that allows a carer free admission when they attend the cinema with you.
Do you accept Meerkat Movies codes?
We are part of Meerkat Movies. You can use the codes on Tuesdays or Wednesdays all day.
